Your options for waste disposal

Every year, Hume residents (including renters) have access to a range of free services to help you dispose of waste that can't go in your household bins.

These include:

  • at-home hard waste and bundled branch collections
  • access to drop off waste at our Resource Recovery Centres
  • Hume Clean Days
  • recycling stations for batteries and e-waste
  • tree mulching days and more.

Each household has five waste vouchers that can be used to book at-home waste collections and/or take waste to our Resource Recovery Centres for free. Limits and conditions apply.

For more waste disposal options and to find a local recycling drop-off location near you check outRecycle Mate's helpful tool on our What Goes in Each Bin Page.
