This page is to assist developers and their agents with the Engineering and Landscape requirements for large scale developments and to clarify the process for submitting detailed design forms to Council.

Landscape Designs

Step 1.Get your documents ready

Before submitting your detailed landscape designs form to Council, you should have the following documents ready to be uploaded:

  • An Opinion of Probable Cost (OPC) - Excel File
  • Concept Plans
  • Arborist Report
  • CHMP
  • DECCA Conservation Management Plan
  • Landscape Values Management Plan
  • Landscape Plans
  • Technical Specifications

Step 2.Submit your submission

Once you have all of the above documents, you are ready to submit your submission form to Council. This can be done online or using our or printable form.

Step 3.Our Internal Process

Approval of Detailed Design Plans can take 30 working days from submission to finalise. This timeline allows for 8 days of administrative processing. If council requires further information from you, we will advise you of the statutory clock stopping. 

An officer will be assigned to your submission, and you will be provided with a landscape fees invoice. Once paid, the Detailed Design review process will begin, and we will assess your submission.

Step 4.Submission outcome

If your submission is approved, approved plans will be forwarded to your nominated email address.
