Come and join us for a free and informative community event to learn how we can work together to prevent gender-based violence.

Hume City Council and Northern Community Legal Centre have partnered to deliver this community event to mark the annual campaign by Respect Victoria, 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. The campaign runs every year from November 25th - December 10th.

On Tuesday November 26th 1:30PM - 3:00PM, community members and local services are invited to join us at Broadmeadows Town Hall for an afternoon of learning and networking. The theme for this event is "Respect Is Strength: Stand Up, Speak Out".

The event will feature a performance from a local women's choir, an expert panel discussion with Q&A, afternoon tea and information stalls from our local family violence services.

Children are welcome to attend with their caregivers. There will be a separate supervised area with fun children's activities.

Please note the venue is wheelchair accessible.

Registrations are essential and will be checked upon entry.

This event will be in-person only and will not be available online.
