Hume City Council is offering Mental Health First Aid training for all faith and community groups/ members in Hume.
The course is free to attend.
You will learn how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
You can complete the short assessment at the end of the training to become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider). Accreditations are valid for 3 years.

The training is delivered by an accredited trainer from the Centre for Muslim Wellbeing.

You must attend both days to complete the course.
