Course for young people 15 - 24. Come learn how to be a rugby league referee with NRL Victoria!

This course is for young people aged 15-24. Priority will be given to those who live in Hume, however, those who are connected to the City of Hume will still be considered.

NRL Victoria want to build your leadership skills by training you to become a referee.

Refereeing has great significance in Victoria and NRL want you to put your hand up to make the call and join as a Referee. Turn your passion for Rugby League into a profession that helps you stay fit, earn and learn all about the game.

Referees play an important role in providing a fun and safe environment for all Rugby League participants.


Course Details:

Step 1: Register your interest

If you are interested in taking the step to become a referee, register your interest so we can send you the relevant information.

Register your interest by Wednesday 21 August 2024.

Step 2: Community Referee E-Learning

Complete the 6 - 12 years Referee Module - link will be sent once you have expressed your interest!

This is NRL's entry level course for Match Officials and is open to anyone wanting to become a referee.

Step 3: Community Referee Workshop

Join the workshop to learn practical skills on what it takes to become a NRL referee.
