Safe Plates Day - October 15 - Secure your License Plates from Theft!

With support from Neighbourhood Watch Victoria and Victoria Police, Dallas Neighbourhood House is running a Safe Plate Day on the 15th of October, 11:00am-1:00pm at Broadmeadows Community Hub car park.

Safe Plate Day is a way to help local community residents secure their number plates from theft with the installation of ‘one-way screws’. Many instances of theft are opportunistic, by having these one-way screws installed you will significantly reduce your chance at having your plates stolen and used in various crimes.

Volunteers will be available on the day to help remove your number plates and replace the screws in a quick and easy process that will take less than 10min with light morning tea available to enjoy.
