About this event

Children's day is a national celebration that recognises the talents, skills, achievements, and rights of children. This year’s celebrations will be based on ‘Children have the right to a clean and safe environment’.

Hume City Council has partnered up with local service providers to deliver an outdoor event to celebrate Universal Children’s Day 2024.

Fun and interactive activities for children from birth to 12 years

  • Stories, music, and dancing
  • Emergency services
  • Healthy snacks
  • Soup stall
  • Maternal Child Health services
  • Kindergarten registration support
  • Play activities and more
