A White Card is your ticket to a career in the construction industry, and a legal requirement for all construction professionals. Any person who visits or works on a construction site is required by WorkSafe to present proof of completion of a general Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) construction training course.
What is White Card training?
White Card training — also known as construction induction training — is the only way to attain a verified White Card, which is mandatory evidence you must show to be able to work on a construction site. Training teaches students health and safety requirements on work sites, how to identify and manage risk, and injury prevention skills. Our course trainers provide white card induction training that is backed up by industry experience.
Who needs a White Card?
➡️ Any person that performs construction work, including: surveyors; site managers and supervisors; labourers; and tradespeople.
➡️ Any person who accesses operational construction zones unaccompanied or without direct supervision by an inducted person, including labourers and tradespersons.
➡️ Any person whose employment routinely requires them to enter any operational construction zones.
