Craigieburn Community Hall has a large main hall that can accommodate up to 80 people. The facility is conveniently located next to the Craigieburn Train Station and has easy access to the Hume Highway. The timber flooring and inbuilt mirrors make this facility ideal for sporting activities like karate, dancing and more.

What is provided as part of facility hire?

Furniture

Tables and chairs are provided. They are kept in the store room, and can be set up to suit your requirements, whether you are hosting a meeting, class or function.

The trestle tables are rectangular in shape, and are 1.82m x 0.74m in size. For exact quantities please contact the bookings team.

Kitchen

A kitchenette is available for patrons to use during their bookings. The kitchenette is complete with a fridge, microwave, and mounted wall urn.

Please note: Kitchens are available for reheating purposes only, and cooking from raw ingredients is not permitted at this location.

Furthermore utensils such as cutlery, crockery, glassware and oven trays are not provided.

Heating/Cooling

Yes, both heating and cooling are available via a central unit in the main hall. The control panel is wall mounted between the male and female bathrooms adjacent to the hall.

Is there parking available?

Onsite parking and on-street parking is not available at this facility. A nearby public car park can be used for bookings. 

Can we have a band or DJ play my event?

Yes, you absolutely can have a band or DJ play at your event, or set up speakers and let your playlist entertain your guests.

However, please be mindful that amplified music is not permitted.

Can we decorate the facility for our event?

The Craigieburn Community Hall is a blank canvas that you can make your own by decorating the facility to suit your event or theme.

Permitted decorations include anything that is not fixed to the walls, and does not damage the facility including table decorations such weighted helium balloons or non-helium balloons, flower arrangements, and other items using non-marking adhesive such as blue-tac.

Smoke machines, flammable materials such as hay bales, candles, helium balloons and confetti cannons are not permitted.

Can I have a jumping castle or animal farm at my event?

This facility does not have a suitable outdoor area to accommodate a jumping castle or animal farm. 

Can I view the facility?

Yes, viewings can be arranged. Please contact the bookings team on 9356 6768 to book in a suitable time.

Please note, viewings for this facility are self-guided, and the key is to be collected and returned from one of our key collection points.
