Furniture
Round banquet tables and lightweight trestle tables along with chairs are provided for you to set up to best suit your bookings requirements. The rectangular trestle tables measure 1.82m x 0.74m in size. For exact quantities please contact the bookings team.

Kitchen
The kitchen has everything you need to cater for your booking. Equipment available includes two electric ovens with cooktops, single door fridge, bainmarie, and wall mounted hot water urn.

Please note: Kitchen facilities are available for reheating purposes only. Cooking from raw ingredients is not permitted at this location.

Heating/Cooling
This facility is perfect all year round with ducted heating and cooling available in the main hall, and reverse cycle split systems available in both meeting rooms.

Jack McKenzie Community Hall has off street parking that is shared with the miniature railway and public playground. The gravel carpark can hold up to 100 cars.

Yes, this venue is fully accessibility friendly. 

Yes, you can absolutely have a band or DJ play at your event. You are also welcome to entertain your guests by setting up your own speakers and playing your favourite playlist.  

However, please be mindful that this facility is located in a semi-residential area and amplified music is therefore not permitted.

The Jack McKenzie Community Hall is a blank canvas that you can make your own by decorating the facility to suit your event or theme.

Permitted decorations include anything that is not fixed to the walls and will not damage the facility including: table decorations such as weighted balloon displays, flower arrangements, and any other items that can be affixed using non-marking adhesive such as blue tac.

Smoke machines, confetti cannons, candles, un-weighted helium balloons, and flammable materials such as hay bales are not permitted

Absolutely - the Jack McKenzie Community Hall is the perfect place to have an animal farm. The facility is surrounded by open space that is perfect for these attractions.
