Whether it be enjoying the carnival atmosphere of Craigieburn Festival, keeping our community clean at Clean Up Australia Day, or enjoying an outdoor event across Hume there really is something for everyone.
A bumper crowd is expected with up to 15,000 locals and visitors attending the event on what will be a warm and sunny day, so guests are encouraged to wear a hat, sunscreen and stay hydrated with the free drinking water taps provided.
We are so excited to launch our Keep Hume Clean initiative this Sunday 5 March for Clean Up Australia Day.

Hume City Mayor, Cr Joseph Haweil will share our plans for tackling waste in Hume and offer his thanks for helping up to Keep Hume Clean.
We will also be launching our waste mascot and announcing the winner of our mascot naming competition.

Need to get rid of a mattress, whitegoods, e-waste, tyres or an old couch?
You can drop them off for free at our Resource Recovery Centres in Sunbury and Campbellfield this Saturday 4 March for Hume Clean Day.
We offer four Hume Clean Days per year, on the first Saturday of every season (March, June, September & December).
Displaying a selection of artwork in a variety of mediums from talented local artists, the exhibition will have something for everyone to enjoy, and even purchase with most of the items available for purchase.
Running throughout the weekend, you can stop in and have a look during your time at Craigieburn Festival.
Sunbury Aboriginal Corporation Community Open Day
The Sunbury Aboriginal Corporation exists to create a welcoming, culturally safe environment for First Nations community to participate in workshops, programs, groups, and to seek assistance.
