‘Tis the season for carols with singing sensation Harrison Craig

Celebrate the festive season and sing along with Australian singing sensation Harrison Craig as he performs some of his favourite Christmas tunes, at the Hume Carols by Candlelight 2018 on Saturday 1 December.
Carols by Candlelight will take place at Craigieburn ANZAC Park and will also feature The Project panellist and radio presenter, Meshel Laurie as Master of Ceremonies and special guests Chase and Marshall from Nickleodeon's PAW Patrol.
A host of talented local performers including Naturally Cool Big Band, Divine Divas of Sunbury, Victoria K, Get Active Dance plus many more will delight and entertain, before Santa makes a very special visit to ANZAC Park.
Mayor of Hume City, Councillor Carly Moore said Hume Carols by Candlelight is a wonderful community tradition and a brilliant free family-friendly event.
“I’m excited to see ANZAC Park full of families and friends on Saturday night enjoying the fantastic atmosphere,” Cr Moore said.
“Growing up and raising my own children in Craigieburn, I have many fond memories of great evenings out with my family and friends at past Carols by Candlelight events.”
Carols by Candlelight is fun for the whole family. The fun kicks off at 5pm with a jumping castle, face painting, food trucks and market stalls. The carols performances begin at 7pm before Santa’s big entrance and the event concludes with a firework display at 9.20pm.

Carols by Candlelight tips and reminders:
- pack your picnic essentials (alcohol in not permitted)
- remember to be sun smart but also bring a warm jacket for cool evenings
- battery operated candles will be on sale for $2 each (candles with a naked flame are not permitted)
- bring cash to purchase food, drink and amusements (ATM also available)
- don’t forget insect repellent
- smoking is not permitted
- dogs must be on leads at all times (Please note that fireworks may alarm your pet, so this event may not be suitable and nearby pets at home should in a secure yard/indoors).
