Join us from 1pm at Town Hall Broadmeadows on Saturday 1 April as we celebrate local Hume City Artists, Anica Gikovska (The Orbis) and Paul Kalemba (Sticks & Stones), where they will deliver an interactive gallery experience.
Anica and Paul will speak about the specific themes in their individual works which collectively explore the textures, materials, and significance of the natural world.
Following the talks, an immersive guided walk through will be delivered by each artist and allow you to gain a deeper insight into them, their process, and their art.
Paul Kalemba’s, Sticks and Stones, is a mixed-medium installation that offers an immersive atmosphere to explore the subtle feelings that emerge within natural environments and ponder the ethereal and intangible.
Anica Gikovska’s, The Orbis, is a series of orb-shaped sculptures that combine rocks with man-made materials to explore tensions between human consciousness and that of the natural world.
This is a free event, and we encourage you to register your interest to secure your spot.
