Hume City Council is dedicated to maintaining clean and safe streets and taking a strong stand against illegal dumping.

We actively monitor and enforce regulations to prevent illegal dumping. Offenders can face fines ranging from $385 to $9616, depending on the severity of the offence.

If you witness illegal dumping or any suspicious activities in the community, you can report it online, through the Snap Send Solve app, or by calling us.

Residents have access to several free resources for waste disposal, including:

  • Hard waste collection
  • Access to the Resource Recovery Centre
  • Hume Clean Days
  • Tree mulching days
  • Bundled branch collections

We will not tolerate those who treat our city like their personal rubbish tip.
