Easter 2025 Public Holiday Closures

Some of our services are changing from Good Friday (Friday 18 April) to Easter Monday (Monday 21 April).

Customer Service Centres will be closed. You can still report issues online or via the Snap Send Solve app, and contact our after-hours service on 9205 2200 if there is an emergency. 

Leisure Centres will be closed on Good Friday (18 April) and will be open with reduced hours from 8am – 5pm on Easter Saturday (19 April), Easter Sunday (20 April) and Easter Monday (21 April). Visit Leisure's website to find out more.

Waste collection will continue as normal. 

Resource Recovery Centres will be closed on Good Friday (18 April) and will be open as normal (8am – 4pm) on Easter Saturday (19 April), Easter Sunday (20 April) and Easter Monday (21 April). Please note that opening hours are subject to change without notice on windy days. If in doubt, please phone the facility directly to confirm the opening hours. 

Hume Libraries will be closed. If you need to make a return, you can do so via the after-hours return chutes at the Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Sunbury libraries. 

Hume Global Learning Centres will be closed.

Youth Centres will be closed. 

Community Centres will be closed.

Early Years Services including Maternal and Child Health, Kindergarten and long day care will be closed.
