Remembering Hume's first Mayor Councillor Carl Lewis

Hume City Council has today recognised and paid tribute to former Councillor Carl Lewis, who passed away on 30 January 2022.
Councillor Lewis was Hume City’s first Mayor (1997 – 1998) and served as a Councillor for Culpin Ward from 1997 until 2000.
Councillor Lewis also served as a Councillor on the former City of Broadmeadows.
In recognition of his advocacy for the Lynda Blundell Centre and commitment to lifelong learning, Council in October 2018 re-named the Hall at the Lynda Blundell Centre the Carl Lewis Hall.
