Welcome to the Hume highlight summer edition!
Before we look ahead to all the fantastic things happening in our city throughout the holiday and summer months, I would like to say thank you. To Hume residents and my fellow councillors, thank you for your continued support. I am honoured to have the privilege of being elected as Mayor for 2024-25.
As Mayor, I will work to ensure the values of Hume City are upheld, ensuring benefits for all who live, work and play here. I would like to acknowledge the tireless efforts of the previous council group, who worked hard to ensure your voices were heard.
We have no shortage of events and things to do this holiday season!
Christmas craft workshops for kids will be running from early December, including face painting, plaster painting and more.
Our Christmas Twilight Series is also on throughout December and is the perfect opportunity to wind down and relax with friends and family to the sound of Christmas classics.
From everyone at Hume City Council, we wish you a happy holiday period.
Cr Jarrod Bell, Mayor of Hume City
