Community Transport
Community Transport is a service for:
- older adults
- people who have difficulty accessing transport due to their physical or financial capacity
- people with limited access to public transport.
It has been designed to assist eligible residents with access to medical appointments, food shopping, social and community activities and maintain independent living at home.
The service offers eligible residents a door-to-door service to various locations across the municipality at the low-cost of just $4.
It is an affordable transport option to assist individuals to access the community. Council also has buses available for local community organisations to hire for activities and programs that directly benefit our residents. Learn more about our Community Bus Hire.
