Inspector Dean Clinton has been a member of Victoria Police for more than 23 years. Dean has worked at various police stations across the state, including as the Officer in Charge of the Frankston Police Station, and Officer in Charge of the one of the state’s first Family Violence Units. Dean’s current role is as the Hume Local Area Commander, where he oversees the police response to all of Hume and manages the stations at Broadmeadows, Craigieburn and Sunbury. Dean has been involved with the Hume Interfaith Network for approximately 2.5 years and sees it as being an important part of his role, to ensure local police understand the community they serve and work with them to solve local problems through Neighbourhood Policing.
