Refugee Week

Refugee Week aims to both raise awareness about the issues affecting refugees around the world and celebrate the positive contributions made by refugees.

Refugee Week 2024 runs from Sunday 16 June to Saturday 22 June in Australia. It is always held from Sunday to Saturday of the week which includes 20 June (World Refugee Day).

To celebrate Refugee Week 2024, Council is hosting a variety of events and shared stories from some of the incredible refugees and people seeking asylum from right across our community.

Let's celebrate "Finding Freedom: Family"

Visit Refugee Council of Australia for information about Refugee Week and to find more events.
