Refugee Week

Refugee Week aims to both raise awareness about the issues affecting refugees around the world and celebrate the positive contributions made by refugees.

Refugee Week runs from Sunday 16 June to Saturday 22 June in Australia. It is always held from Sunday to Saturday of the week which includes 20 June (World Refugee Day).

To celebrate Refugee Week 2024 we hosted a variety of events and shared stories from some of the incredible refugees and people seeking asylum from right across our community.

See what we got up to at our flagship Refugee Week event at Town Hall Broadmeadows.
