Work Window provides young people with insight into the world of work, through virtual reality experiences so they can make more informed career decisions and practice job interview skills.
The purpose of the VR Work Window is to use Virtual Reality headsets to have a job interview in an immersive, interactive environment to refine interviewing skills and build confidence. The lesson plan for Work Window includes preparation for a job interview and a virtual job interview.

The job interview simulator lesson plan consists of preparation for an interview, job interview on VR headset and review. The activities for this lesson plan can include job search, resume and selection criteria support, interview question planning, job interview and review of results.
The VR Work Window lesson plan can take anywhere from 20 minutes – 1 hour, this will depend on how many activities you choose to complete.
The job interview simulator depends on how long your answers are, there are 9 questions on the job interview simulator.
It is intended that by the end of the lesson, the participant will know how to prepare a resume and selection criteria, how to prepare for job interview questions, a better understanding of time management, appropriate work attire, and communication skills for a job interview.
We will provide the VR headsets, student worksheets, and lesson plans.
You will need to provide laptops for job research, WiFi internet connection, screen/TV to show presentation slides and space to complete job interview simulator on VR headsets.
