The Hume Youth Makers Market was held at Gladstone Park Shopping Centre on Saturday 13 July 2024. There were six young people who held stalls showcasing their handmade creations, including jewellery, crocheted items, resin items, stickers, and more.

This event marked their first opportunity to present their work in a shopping centre setting.

Craigieburn Festival - 2 March 2024

The Hume Youth Makers Market was held at Craigieburn Festival on Saturday 2 March 2024. 15 young people and 1 youth group from across Hume held stalls showcasing their handmade creations, including jewellery, artwork, crocheted keychains, candles, bread boards, and more.

The Youth Makers Market aimed to support young creative entrepreneurs through the facilitation of workshops, webinars, and one-on-one support in the lead up to the market, and hands-on support from the Youth Services team on the day. Craigieburn Festival was the first opportunity for many to put these new skills into practice through interacting with a diverse customer base and selling their products.
