Pay your rates

Annual rates notices will arrive in September.

Ratepayers will be issued three further instalment notices throughout the year at least 14 days before each instalment is due. Due dates are: 

  • 30 September
  • 30 November
  • 28 February
  • 31 May

You can pay your rates in a number of different ways whether it's online, in person, over the phone or via mail. You can also set up a regular payment arrangement with Council.

Can I get a Concession?

If you have a concession card and do not already receive the Municipal Rates Concession, find out if you are eligible.

Online

You will need to enter the Payment Reference Number from your rates notice. This seven digit number is located next to the BPay or the POST Billpay logo on your notice.

Flexipay Direct Debit Payments and Arrangements

FlexiPay provides quick and easy payment of your rates notice. You can also set up a weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or quarterly payment schedule.  

Payments can be made via credit card or bank account.

Please note, you will require your eNotices Reference Number which can be found on your latest rates notice or request a copy or your rates notice.

Set up a payment arrangement

Centrepay deductions

Centrepay is a voluntary bill-paying service which is free for Centrelink customers. Use Centrepay to arrange regular deductions from your Centrelink payment. You can start or change a deduction at any time. The easiest way to do it is through your Centrelink account online in myGov.
