About the artist

Alex Rivette is a promising young artist currently pursuing a Bachelor of Visual Art and Design at Australian Catholic University. With aspirations to establish a successful career in the art world, Alex has already made notable strides, having artworks selected for the Moonee Valley Art Show and participating in Hume City Council's Youth Art Project, which culminated in the Hot Spot exhibition in 2022.

In addition to these achievements, Alex's Year 12 final artwork received the prestigious Mayoral Award at the Moonee Valley City Council’s Fireworks exhibition. Demonstrating a commitment to the local community, Alex also designed the logo for the Greenvale Residents Association.

Eager to continue contributing to the art scene in Hume, Alex is excited about future opportunities to engage with the community and share her passion for creativity.
