About the artist

Raghad Rihan is an artist and teacher whose work is profoundly shaped by her Palestinian-Australian heritage. Raghad’s artwork skilfully weaves elements of culture - celebrating and communicating her roots while also connecting with a local and global audience.

In addition to her artistic practice, Raghad teaches digital art, sharing her passion for creativity and guiding students in using modern tools for self-expression. Her commitment to education allows her to foster a new generation of artists, empowering them to explore their unique voices.

Beyond the canvas, Raghad is a dedicated martial artist, holding a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo, which has instilled qualities such as focus, resilience, and balance—traits that enhance both her artistic and teaching practices. The principles of martial arts inform her creative process and educational methods, providing a holistic approach that enriches her life and work.
