Craigieburn artist Jo Brookshaw exhibits a selection of her new paintings that explore themes of justice, relating to humanity and the Earth. Brookshaw draws upon her own faith and work in the Salvation Army, bringing very local contexts to her imagery.
The Craigieburn War Memorial & Remembrance Committee have produced a picture book about the Craigieburn War memorial and the importance of Anzac Day, written by Jo Brookshaw and illustrated by Craigieburn artist Betty Maher.
A selection of Betty’s original watercolours for the book are exhibited and a book launch celebration event will be held in the gallery in the lead-up to Anzac Day commemorations.
