Artist: Nur Terzi
Whirling Waters by Nur Terzi showcases the dynamic beauty of Turkish Ebru marbling, illumination, and calligraphy. This exhibition explores movement- both physical and spiritual- through fluid wave-like patterns that reflect the rhythms of nature and the universe. Inspired by Sufi philosophy, Nur’s work reinterprets traditional Ebru in a contemporary context, using deep greens, rich purples and golds to evoke mystery and transformation. At its heart, Whirling Waters celebrates continuous motion, from the whirling dervishes to the endless flow of water. Through this fusion of tradition and innovation, Nur invites viewers to experience the harmony of movement and artistic expression.
