Aitken Boulevard Pedestrian Underpass

This mural will be relocating to Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre in 2025. The artist is expected to begin work at the new site early in the year.

A talented emerging Aboriginal artist, Amina Briggs has designed a playful image referencing the waterway (Malcolm Creek) running beside the pedestrian trail between the Golden Sun Moth Playground and Hume Stolen Generations Marker.

Her playful sense of humour is revealed through a long winding design featuring fish and possums swimming along the wall (possums not being native swimmers!)
