Hume Leisure Centres

Hume Libraries

Hume Libraries is Council's free public library service. We have five branches, a mobile library and a home library service. We offer a huge range of events and programs, along with all the latest and greatest new release books, magazines and DVDs available through our branches. Or you can join online and get instant access to our full digital collection. 

Skating and BMX

Skating and BMX are increasingly popular sport and recreational activities for many people. Council has a number of skating and BMX facilities available in our Parks and Reserves. Check them out these school holidays!

Plane spotting - aircraft viewing areas

Watch the jumbos as they fly overhead and onto the runway at Tullamarine Airport. Parking areas are located at Operations Road, Melbourne Airport and the corner of Sunbury Road and Oaklands Road, Greenvale.

Bulla Hill Railway

Visit the miniature railway where adults and children can enjoy a ride. There is a great children’s playground located right outside the gates in the public parkland area, a large free car park, toilet facilities and coin operated barbeques with five picnic shelters.

Animal Land Children's Farm

Animal Land has been specifically set up to give children a real, hands-on farming experience.  Unlike other animal attractions, visitors don't simply observe the animals.  They get to hold, pat, feed, ride and truly experience farm life first-hand.
