We’ve upgraded the Hume Tennis and Community Centre for our community to play, relax, explore and exercise outdoors.

What we've done

We built a new playspace, shelter and picnic BBQ facilities to support a young and growing community.

The playspace includes play units with equipment such as a climbing frame, swings, trampolines, spinner, rocker and timber and stone steppers to engage all abilities and ages to experience active and imaginative play.

This project also includes a picnic shelter and BBQ facilities that support family and group social gatherings.

This project was delivered in partnership with the Victorian Government as part of the Growing Suburbs Fund.

Why we did it

The design for the Hume Tennis and Community Centre was intended to have a playspace, built a little later to meet the surrounding growing population.

These additions create a place that anyone can enjoy for generations.

When was it completed?

The project was complete in November 2020.
