Hume City Council is planning to start open space upgrade works at Hatty Court Reserve the week of 7th June 2024.

We have engaged contractors to make valuable upgrades to the reserve and enhance the space for our community to enjoy.

Works will include:

• New entrance

• A new playspace with play unit, swing set, rocker, spinner, and nature play

• New park seat and picnic table

• New drinking fountain

• Bicycle maintenance station and bike hoop

• Tree planting and new garden beds

• New reserve signage

What does this mean? 

The playspace will be closed during the construction period. Temporary fencing will be installed around the perimeter of the new playspace construction area. During this time, the existing footpath through the Reserve will be unavailable with alternative access to Merri Creek Parklands available via Somerset Road.

When will these works be complete?  

We anticipate that works will be completed by the end of August 2024, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
