At Hume City Council, we are committed to advocating for the needs of our growing and diverse community.

The upcoming Federal Election presents an important opportunity to ensure that our city's priorities are heard and that we secure the necessary investments to support our residents now and into the future.

Why we advocate

Advocacy is essential to ensure that the voices of our 260,000 residents are represented at all levels of government.

With our population projected to reach 389,000 by 2041, Hume City faces increasing demand for essential infrastructure and services.

We work closely with Federal and State Governments to deliver critical projects that enhance community well-being, support local businesses, and improve public amenities.

Why we need federal investment

Federal investment is vital to meeting the needs of our rapidly growing community.

By securing funding, we can deliver transformative projects that drive economic growth, improve community services, and create a more liveable city. This investment ensures we can provide:

  • Better transport and infrastructure

  • Enhanced community facilities

  • Sustainable environmental programs

  • Support for local employment and business growth

Through strong advocacy, we aim to deliver real outcomes that positively impact the lives of our residents.

Our commitment

We are dedicated to working with all levels of government to deliver projects that matter.

Our advocacy priorities focus on key areas that will make Hume City a better place to live, work, and visit.

By highlighting these priorities during the Federal Election, we seek to build partnerships that drive meaningful change for our community.

Together, we can ensure a thriving future for Hume City.
